AERO PRECISION VG6 Epsilon 5.56 Muzzle Break (APVG100004A)

Picked up an epsilon 5.56 when it was on sale for 40 bucks. Huge improvement over standard a2 flash hider and as good as if not better than any other muzzle device on the market, with the exception of a suppressor. Further reduces recoil to the point of being negligible, epsilon suppresses flash decently enough to be useable in low light conditions and the concussion is not very noticeable to the shooter. People standing on your left and right will feel the thump though, so be warned if shooting indoors or even near people outdoors. The CAGE device supposedly largely mitigates this, will update review if I pick one up. The only thing I would like to see happen is a mounting solution for a suppressor and it would be the absolute last muzzle device one would need to buy for an AR. Fingers crossed!

More effective than others that I have tried, and really not as noisy either.

I was looking for a muzzle break and comparing the numerous options when I kept coming back to the VG6 Epsilon. It's priced well, especially at 1800GNA, and from all of the reviews I read, people were very happy with theirs. I purchased one and installed it the day I received it. Incredibly easy to install yourself, the hardest part was getting the old A2 birdcage off my barrel. Make sure you time it correctly, using top dead center of your barrel, for best results. I took it to the desert the following weekend and I couldn't believe the difference!!! Muzzle rise and kick were nearly eliminated!!! Trust the reviews you read, this is a cheap upgrade that you will be kicking yourself for not making sooner! Thanks again, 1800GNA!!!
