The BURRIS Eliminator III 3-12x44 Rangefinding Riflescope, X96 Ballistic Reticle (200120) is the most advanced riflescope on the planet. Use the illuminated aiming point to take down game even in low-light conditions. The X96 reticle is accurate at any magnification, and provides a simple method for calculating wind hold-off. The Eliminator III delivers extreme accuracy at extreme ranges.
To range your target, place the crosshair on target and press either button on the objective bell. In a split second, the range to your target will be displayed and a lighted dot will appear on your vertical crosshair indicating the correct aiming point for your specific ammunition at that exact distance. With the Eliminator III, this technology will function at any magnification.
While complete wind compensation is not fully automated within the scope, it gives the shooter the tools needed to make an accurate hold-off estimate. In addition to distance, the reticles digital display will show a 10 MPH Wind Value for your specific cartridge at the indicated range to your target. This Wind Value represents how many dots to hold into the wind for a 10 MPH crosswind. Estimate the actual wind speed and use the 10 MPH Wind Value as a guideline .
