The EVOLUTION GUN WORKS HD 30mm .990in Tactical Aluminum Rings (61101) are created in American-made Fadal by machining aircraft grade aluminum from billet one pair of rings at a time.
The rings are serial engraved before they are separated. One ring and cap has a decimal in front of the numbers so the caps match exactly. i.e. one ring will show "575" and its identical twin will show ".575".
The cross bolt is made from chromoly steel in the turning centers, roll threaded in-house and heat treated and blued locally. The ring nut is beveled on both ends and an inset washer is used to keep the nut from scoring the finish on the clamp. The threads are roll formed for strength, fit (class 2a) and finish. The clamp is machined from billet and complete with radius and bevels, and anodized to the match rings.
