Leupold's trademarked Dual Dovetail system has a machined steel construction and provides a classic low-profile mount for scopes on a variety of popular actions. The bases accept all Leupold rotary dovetail rings. The Dovetail connections at both front and rear provide a rock-solid mounting platform.
The Dual Dovetail system differs from the STD system in that there is no windage adjustment for the rear ring. This makes the Dual Dovetail extra secure.
